Jasper’s city is 400km away from Calgary. This tour cannot be done in one day, especially since the Jasper Park has many natural attractions that deserves at least two days of sightseeing.

Among the four parks of the Rocky Mountains, Jasper Park is the highest park (10.800km above sea level), has more rugged landscapes and also is where you will have a good chance to see wildlife. Jasper is a jewel in the midst of nature and it has excellent hotels and all the services that visitors need.

Jasper’s visitors can take a gondola that carries them up to Whistler Mountain where they can have a panoramic, amazing view of the Ice Fields and Robson peak, the highest mountain of the Canadian Rockies.

Jasper offers many attractions. The most popular attraction, without a doubt, is the Maligne Valley, located 70km away from Jasper. This is where the Maligne Lake resides. The length of this lake is 22km and up to 95m deep. Her waters change to turquoise, depending on the amount of minerals in the water. Some parts of the lake are accessible on foot, canoe or boat. Rafting is quite common on Maligne Lake. In the valley we also find the Maligne Canyon that has a depth of up to 54m and is the most spectacular cannon of the Rockies.  It is certainly worth visiting.
