The three-hour tour of the city of Calgary will give visitors a general idea of the city as well as sufficient information on the history and current culture of Calgary.

The tour starts in Downtown where you can admire the architecture of the last century, as well as the current modern style. Among the attractions that you will see is the Calgary Tower, the Glenbow Museum, the City Hall, and the Olympic Plaza. You will also see The Bow building, which is the tallest building in Calgary, standing 236 m tall. You might spot the Wonderland sculpture, a 12 m tall head of a woman. It was made by Jaume Plensa, a Spanish artist.

We will make a quick stop at Fort Calgary to meet the birthplace of Calgary. Soon we follow up to the Scotsman view, from where you have a great view of the city and Stampede Park, where the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth is held. The Stampede event takes place every year in July and receives over 1 million visitors from all over the world.

We will continue our walk through Chinatown to meet its restaurants, shopping malls, parks, and the spectacular Chinese cultural center. Later, if possible, we'll visit Prince’s Island Park that is located in the urban area. It is a resting place for sports lovers and even for executives back in the day. This park is place of many cultural events, such as the Latino Festival and Shakespeare in the Park. Later we will visit a lookout of the city on Crescent Road. This viewpoint has an excellent view of the city and its surroundings. We can appreciate the beauty of the Bow River, Prince’s Island Park and the beautiful Calgarian downtown.

Finishing our tour, we will go to Canada Olympic Park, where the Winter Olympic Games took place in 1988. It is an amazing place to take lots of pictures! Fun fact: one of the sleds used in the movie Cool Runnings stands in the park today!

During the summer, the park offers various activities such as zip lining, bobsledding, luge, and the museum Hall of Fame.

We await you on your fun-filled tour!
